Somehow this Minaj VS Mill was inspired by Jay-Z’s « 4:44. »
We could certainly think of some albums that could inspire you to fire shots at your ex, but that was before Jay-Z’s redemptive new LP 4:44 was released. It appears that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have exchanged some subliminal shots via Instagram, and it all started with a Nicki’s caption inspired by Jay’s song.https://www.instagram.com/p/BV-jjiwhUXE/?taken-by=nickiminaj&hl=frIf you didn’t quite get it, Jay-Z, made a reference to Eric Benet in his song (whom divorced Halle Berry back in 2005) and therefore stated that he « lost the baddest girl in the world ». But Nicki decided to own that lyric and turned it out like this : « Oh so u n***az gon sit up here & act like #Wifeyaint BEEN telly’all 1. Don’t lose the baddest girl in the world. #EricBenet 2. Stop throwing money ya ass ain’trlly got. 3. Stop posting them tired stacks on the gram oh but when Jay say it it’s #bible tho… We ain’t BEEN droppin jewels on these n***az behind closed doors? » . Thoughts?
Meek’s response
Meek then shared what seemed like a response to Minaj’s post, calling out « fake b***es, » before seemingly making some threats in his hashtags. « Fake skin color… fake weaves…. fake ass … fake mileage … fake nails…. fake friends etc … can somebody speak up, » he wrote. « When you finally see them without everything on n***as be sick forreal #dontmakeme #youknowimsavage #howdareyou. »
Of course, no names were used within either caption. And all while Meek’s post has been deleted since, Nicki’s remains.
