Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has phoned Alexis Sanchez about a possible move to Old Trafford this summer.
Chilean TV show, 'El Show de Prensafutbol', claims that the player has been contacted by both Mourinho and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, who worked with Sanchez at Barcelona.
Premier League leaders Chelsea, are also keen in landing the 28-year-old, who will have one year left on his current Arsenal deal, at the end of the season.
Mourinho could be in the market for a new attacker, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic yet to commit his future to United. Captain Wayne Rooney is very likely to finally leave too.
Alexis and Mesut Ozil are holding out for £250,000-a-week, but the London club may choose to cash-in on the duo this summer, rather than lose them for nothing next year.
Sanchez told media in his homeland last week that he expected to see out his contract at the Emirates and wanted to stay in London "but for a team with a winning mentality".
"I am happy in London and I hope to finish my contract with Arsenal. Hopefully Arsenal can push to win the big titles," he told El Grafico.
