(Sad) mum of the young boy Davido promised to cater for life dies

Utibe went viral after several media houses posted videos of him singing Davido’s ‘IF’, a user, Shamrock80 who was moved by this, reached out to the young lad, posted it on Instagram, bought him some foodstuffs, and tried to set him up in a school.

Shamrock met with Utibe and Utibe’s Mum, and he revealed that she suffers from paralysis.Davido got involved, and promised to sponsor Utibe for Life..

Then, Davido revealed he’s building a house for the young lad but it’s so unfortunate his mum won’t see him succeed. She died this morning.

Shamrock who is spearheading everything about the welfare of Utibe and His Mum, broke the news, he wrote;

Rest in peace UTIBES MUM.. U struggled to live, u where always telling me u want to start business I told u to recover first, now I got a call u are gone so soon, if life was to be sold I will buy some more years for u…I tried to battle with ur health,but my best wasn’t good enough, Who will look after utibe and the two younger sisters.. Who will live in the huz we are building for u… I just wish u slept in that huz even for a second.. My heart is heavy. But GOD knows best. Rip ma’am.
