Akon has just signed Nigerian singer, Samklef to his record label

Akon has got his fingers in so many different pies that it's getting hard to keep track of his movements. Some moments he's having a good time in Monaco with uber rich people, the next few he's giving electricity to millions of homes in Africa. And when he has a bit of time in between all that, he's signing the hottest talents to his record label.
 
After all, it should not be forgotten that most of us know Akon because of his music and now he's got his eyes on the next step of his musical legacy, and it begins with him signing Samklef to his label.

There's been a general belief that Samklef ought to be a bigger star in Nigeria than what he currently is. Some feel he's slept on, others feel like the singer has slept on himself and although things haven't worked out as well over the last few years, this move to Kon Live could be the key to his fortunes.
